Descendants of Unknown Burton. Josiah Burton died intestate, his wife died intestate as well.  They owned property near Providence road.  In order to sell the property the surviving family members went to court.  The document listed all of Josiah Burton’s brothers and sister, and their children.

We have not found who the unknown Burton is, we do suspect he is also a descendant of Joseph Burton & Constant Legatt.  Looking of a Burton descendant who will take a DNA test to prove my weather my “Y” DNA line does go back to Joseph & Constant.

Joshua Burton married Elizabeth Fowler, her mother was Cordelia Burton.
